Triumphant Life Podcast: Episode 5 – Gratitude is Gold
You’ve heard this a million times before that it is wise to practice gratitude. Maybe you’ve even tried to write in a Gratitude Journal before you go to bed at night. Maybe that lasted a few days or even a few weeks, but then the journal is now just sitting on your nightstand collecting dust.
Why haven’t you been writing in the journal and practicing gratitude daily? Maybe it is because you never realized how powerful it truly is. Once you understand this, you will realize that practicing gratitude is one of the most important and powerful things you can do to completely improve every area of your life and lead you to a more triumphant life.
In my Triumphant Life of Abundance online course, I teach how important it is to raise your thoughts and your energy to reach a level that I refer to as being at a higher vibration. Low vibration thoughts and feelings are anger, shame, guilt and fear. If you live mostly at these lower vibration thoughts then your life will continue to show you reasons why you should feel those feelings. It is extremely important to improve your life, that you work on climbing the ladder, one rung at a time, to reach for higher level thoughts and feelings such as peace, joy, and love. I’m sure you know how amazing it feels to be at those higher thoughts. And, when you spend most of your time vibrating at a higher level, then more wonderful things come into your life. One of the easiest and quickest ways to climb that ladder is practicing gratitude.
Research too has shown the benefits of feeling grateful. As a matter of fact, it has been found that practicing gratitude will make you happier, healthier, have better relationships, help you to advance your career, increases your self-esteem and at the same time makes you less self-centered. Practicing gratitude boosts your energy, makes you more productive (both critical pieces to being a high performer) and makes you better at making decisions. Many say that gratitude is the best medicine for physical ailments but I have found it even heals a broken heart.
If that is not enough reason to start or continue to make gratitude a daily practice for you, then imagine this. Imagine that someone gave you a gold coin every time you experienced feelings of gratitude for things in your life. Wouldn’t you just want to think those thoughts constantly? Well, life becomes richer when you are grateful for what you have in your life so start practicing gratitude today. Trust me, this really works.
