Sugar Free Chocolate Mousse (Pudding)
- 1 avocado
- ½ cup almond milk, rice milk or any non-dairy milk
- 1/3 cup of Lakanto or Organic Zero natural zero-calorie sweetener or 1/3 cup of soaked dates
- ½ cup raw cacao powder
If using the natural sweetener, place the milk and sweetener in a saucepot and warm on the stove until the sugar is melted.
Set aside to cool.
If using dates, soak the dates in water for at least 15 – 30 minutes until soft. Be sure to remove the pits before using. You may want to add a bit of the date soaking water to the mousse for more sweetness and better texture.
Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Enjoy!!
