This concept, courtesy of Paul Nison, saved me many times when my illness was in a flared condition. Use this as a platform for creating your own unique and delicious version. Some would consider this a raw soup.
Ingredients:
- 1 cucumber
- 1 tomato
- 1 stalk of celery
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Handful of spinach and/or romaine or any green of choice (I even like a combination of parsley and basil)
- 1 avocado
- Pinch of sea salt to taste
You may even decide to add 1 clove of fresh garlic, flax oil, and turmeric to their anti-inflammatory qualities!
Preparation:
Cut the ingredients into small pieces, remove any seeds if necessary, and blend in a blender. You may actually find that you do not need to add any water.
