[vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” css_animation=”” box_shadow_on_row=”no”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Often when clients are suffering with digestive discomfort for any reason, a blended salad is a wonderful way to get healing and cooling fresh vegetables in the diet while offering the body a chance to heal. This concept, courtesy of Paul Nison, saved me many times when my illness was in a flared condition. Use this as a platform for creating your own unique and delicious version. Some would consider this a raw soup.

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Handful of spinach and/or romaine or any green of choice (I even like a combination of parsley and basil)
  • 1 avocado
  • Pinch of sea salt to taste

You may even decide to add 1 clove of fresh garlic, flax oil, and turmeric to their anti-inflammatory qualities!

Cut the ingredients into small pieces, remove any seeds if necessary, and blend in a blender. You may actually find that you do not need to add any water.
