Berry Smoothie with Greens
This recipe is adapted from The Cancer Project’s book, “The Cancer Survivor’s Guide”. This is a double size recipe for a large crowd.
You can halve all of the ingredients to make enough for 1 – 2 people.
I add greens to the smoothie to add incredible nutrition to this yummy drink.
- 2 – 3 cups of nut milk or any non-dairy milk
- 2 cups of frozen bananas
- 2 cups of either frozen strawberries or blueberries
- 4 T apple juice concentrate
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A handful of any green leafy vegetable (optional) such as spinach, kale, romaine, parsley etc.
Place all in a blender and enjoy!
