In this workshop, you will learn:

• the importance of healthy nourishing soil
• how to mix your own organic soil mix
• which soil amendments may be beneficial to your plants
• which plants can be started in trays indoors and then transplanted
• which plants are to be direct seeded outside and when
• how to plant with the phases of the moon and why
• when to start planting and how to extend your growing season

You will take home some seedlings that you started yourself.

Come and spend the day at our beautiful 52-acre organic farm which is nestled in the Laurel Mountains near Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Hidden Valley, Ohiopyle State Park and Ligonier.

Our farm is only 3 miles off of the PA Turnpike on Roaring Run Road.
